If anyone is interested in reading my story, book one is complete.
[link]The basic storyline is that the Seekers are after "Smith" because she killed someone who has the potential to become a Seeker, which means she "disturbed the balance" that they are so obsessed with keeping. Smith's sister is also missing, so she obsesses over finding her.
"I remember being a normal teenager. But now, "paranormal" might not even begin to describe it."
Characters:
Seekers --
They are neither male nor female, nor anything in between. They aren't light or dark, hot or cold, they are just... there.
They give off a menacing and foreboding appearance. Always cloaked; you can't see their faces. When they move, shadows dance off of them, like little wisps. Their skin is dark gray and skeletal, and they travel through black light. You can't hear them talk unless they wish it, unless you are a Seeker, or if you're a Seeker's apprentice.
Shapeshifting Knight ("Smith")
Gender -- female
Race -- Shapeshifter (multiple animal forms)
Eyes -- lavender, Hair -- black, Skin -- ivory (caucasian)
Not very much is know about this very odd character,
except by her past charge, Jean. Smith generally keeps
to herself, and tends to bite. But not hard.
Rue Mitcham
Gender -- female
Race -- human
Eyes -- blue, Hair -- blond, Skin -- fair (caucasian)
Rue is a curious girl who indirectly finds herself in a
world of trouble. She and Todd are in a relationship, in
case you couldn't tell. She's one of those "good girls"
who have a slightly dark side, but it doesn't show often
at all. It's mostly others that get her in trouble.
Jean Everdeen
Gender -- female
Race -- Shapeshifter (couar-jaguar)
Eyes -- brown, Hair -- black, Skin -- tan (Latina)
Jean is one of those quiet and thoughtful people.
Sometimes it seems like she crumbles under pressure,
but inside, all those wheels are turning.
Matthew Ingle Striker
Gender -- male
Race -- Shapeshifter (Red-Tri Australian Shepherd)
Eyes -- hazle, Hair -- red, Skin -- dark-ish (African American + caucasian)
Matt tries to see the comical side in everything. He had
a rough transition, coming into the Shapeshifting world,
and with Jean as a mentor... well, we can only hope he matures.
Todd Clemens
Gender -- male
Race -- human
Eyes -- blue/green, Hair -- light brown, Skin -- tan-ish (caucasian)
Todd is the person one would go to for common sense lessons.
He's easy to get along with and has an extremely comical side;
always good for a laugh.
Otool Enri (older brother of Gustav)
Gender -- male
Race -- Shapeshifter (eagle)
Eyes -- golden brown, Hair -- med. brown, Skin -- fair (French)
Otool is a smart bird, which is odd because in the 'shifting world,
birds are generally known for their short attention spans. But boy,
is he a planner!
Gustav Enri (younger brother of Otool)
Gender -- male
Race -- Shapeshifter (falcon)
Eyes -- brown, Hair -- brown, Skin -- fair (French)
Gustav still hasn't fully adjusted to the American land yet. He
misses his French home, but finds he can easily converse
with the Americans -- if he can just remember to speak English.
Jake Carrol
Gender -- male
Race -- Shapeshifter (Blue Meryl Australian Shepherd)
Eyes -- one white, one golden brown, Hair -- black/tan, Skin -- tan (caucasian + latino)
Unlike many of the 'shifters, Jake is more comfortable in his
animal-form. He is one of the few that were born an animal, and
so human living is difficult for him. Especially when he passes a fire hydrant.

In general it is a person's right to laugh at a good joke. So why do some people get mad whenever I snicker at Twilight? ^^
